preprocess_fit

Preprocesses before fitting the data. Applies _preprocess_X and normalizes the output variable. Also creates the fit_fn_ attribute by analyzing the random effects.

The output variable.
Returns
- Xnp.array(2d)
The encoded, normalized model matrix of the data.
- ynp.array(1d)
The normalized output variable.
